About our classes
Santa Barbara Songwriting was founded by seventeen-year-old Joanne Tudor, who noticed the lack of educational opportunities for beginning songwriters in Santa Barbara County. Our mission is to teach teenagers within the local community knowledge needed to write their own music. The curriculum includes music theory, collaboration, and receiving advice from professionals within the music industry.
Requirements:
Participant must 12-15 years old.
Interested in songwriting!
Participant must live in Santa Barbara County, as this workshop is intended to be local.
Willing to collaborate and bring creativity to the session.
